there are many problems we will face while trying to automate the scenarios
among all of them, Object identification is the major one
i will tell you following scenario where i get struck once

my application is developed on VB and they also used third party controls(Far point spreadsheet 5).QTP is unable to identify the menus of that controls.even though i used object repository QTP is not identifying them properly.I did the following things to solve the above issue

I used TYPE Mehtod.

Type method is used when we want to do Keyboard operations
